The receptionist at the medical lab finished processing the requisitions the doctor had sent with me and suggested I go ahead and have a seat. I tried that. But I only lasted a minute or so. Much better to stand when you've drunk a litre and a half of water over an hour earlier.
I was pacing pretty steadily by the end of the 15 minutes I had to wait for "them to pick up the paperwork". As it turned out, the ultrasound was not intravaginal after all. The one I had in NC last time was so I just figured...
When the technician told me all I had to remove was my jacket and shoes I started thinking he had the wrong patient. I still wasn't convinced at the end that the reason for the imaging had been covered, but he assured me it had.
I got to relax after my visit to the washroom. I was busy sketching plans for another very small construction project: a wooden contraption to raise my little trailer so the weight isn't on the tires while it is (again) in storage. Just got started when the boob smushing technician called my name.
Won't know for a week or so what all the testing has revealed. I'm in good news mode so it'll have to be good -- right?
