The Good News Just Keeps On Coming!

Indeed, on the liver front, my recent (end of September) test results were "almost normal". This is huge. It's the first time in over two years that the numbers have been this good. So good are they, that when I mentioned I may (please) be relocating to take a job soon (hopefully) and that I may need her input in locating a specialist wherever I land, my Liver Lady said any GP could probably handle things.

I've got a follow up set of bloodtests and consultation anyway. In January. Shared my news with both of my children on the walk back to the apartment. Got some good news in return. What a great morning it was.

Since I am on a roll in the much improved health game and I was passing by her office anyway, I stopped in at Dr. Christina Lee's and was fortunate enough to be given an eye exam right then. I came away with a very slightly changed Rx (even compared to her records of nine years ago) and assurances that I still do not have glaucoma.

Excellent. As soon as I hook up with the wonderful job that's out there waiting for me, I'll be ready to get new, unscratched glasses.

I had a great chat with a woman who was waiting for her friend at Dr. Lee's. She suggested I buy a lottery ticket during this month of good karma. Hmmm. Might not hurt. I've heard the odds of winning are significantly improved by the purchase of a ticket.
