I have out-stubborned my bunny rabbit. Oliver has finally consented to doing his business in the litter pan again. It's been a few days of "discussion", though. And a bit of a mess on the floor here - easily cleaned up. He was locked out of the cat crate as soon as I figured out the towels inside had been "abused".

I put some straw in a pile as a substitute place to snuggle but that met with the same treatment. Sometime last night or today, he ran out of places that hadn't been used and chanced into the litter pan. Now I can clean the whole crate (large one) and remove the cat crate.

Remember the Reconfiguration I was predicting? It took place within minutes of Oliver being inside the dog crate. His little head fits nicely between the bars. Only up to his shoulders so he can't escape or anything, but it's just too risky. If you've been viewing the Oliver Cam, you've perhaps noticed the white wire storage cube squares on the sides.

Tomorrow I'll try to determine exactly how small (I think shorter will do) the openings should be to keep him from hurting himself. I'd like to use the cubes for an outdoor exercise thingy instead of a head guard, you know?

I had a lovely chat with my new upstairs neighbour tonight. She took me out for pizza after the furniture delivery folks messed up and didn't come today. I had been dodging parking tickets while parked on the street for their convenience since noon and she wanted to make it up to me. She's a very interesting person it turns out. A runner, a camping enthusiast and likes both of my pets. I think we're going to get along just fine!

A wet day all in all. I managed to make three more medical diagnostic appointments -- all within the month of October. Good huh? AND, I got a return call from my former employer regarding legal documents I'd signed 20 years ago. I asked for a copy and they have found it. I'll try to get out there tomorrow to pick it up. Right after I clean the rabbit cage!
