Everyone I know should be doing the Happy Dance (or the Hamster Dance, your choice :-) with me tonight.

This afternoon I saw the surgeon who performed the miracle on my neck, returning for my enjoyment (and yours, you lucky folks) not only the previously reduced use of a limb but the strangely affected (and now back to normal) gray matter housed in my thick skull. The result is, for me, at least a third chance at life as I have become accustomed to enjoying it.

He says he doesn't want to see me anymore -- yay! He did give me some cautions about activities that involve a lot of bumping around and/or the wearing of heavy helmets.

As a bonus, he said trail riding would be okay -- double yay!
